This September, the inaugural Canadian Awards for the Electronic and Animated Arts will be held in Vancouver. The even will be ritzy like the Oscars, complete with limos, tuxedos and a red carpet. What is organizers had to get a big-name Canadian celeb everyone respected. That celeb was busy, so they went with William Shatner.

The event's producer says Shatner was fingered from the beginning as Host, and he "will guarantee a fun, exciting, and memorable evening for everyone." That is, only if he sings "Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds." Brian Ashcraft
