Would have mentioned this much earlier, but I was in the throes of the flu over the past weekend and couldn't be sure if the tip we recieved was real or a fever dream. At the New York Comic Con this weekend, Marvel Comics Editor-In-Chief Joe Quesadilla Quesada announced an ongoing Halo comic book series to be penned by my second favorite comics writer of all time (first will always be Peter David), Brian Michael Bendis. Bendis's credits include Ultimate Spiderman, Daredevil, the Avengers, and even the massive House of M crossover which served to trim the fat on the bloated mutant population in the Marvel universe. The series will be drawn by Alex Maleev, who is completely amazing.

While we don't have a date, a plot, or any details really, I'm betting they are planning to kick the book off somewhere on or around the Halo 3 release...a period of time during which you could put Master Chief on packages of adult diapers and sell a million boxes. Michael Fahey
