Cuddly Nintendo Baby Blanket

Who wouldn't want to swaddle their baby in this adorable Nintendo blanket. If I had (or wanted) a baby I know I certainly would. It was made by a friend for this couple's newborn. They wanted to use more modern versions of the characters rather than the old school eight bits so they ended up using the character images from Mario Kart DS for the pattern. I don't know which is cuter, that tiny baby or the blanket. It's a bit of a toss up. More »

Cheapy D, my friend and owner/operator of the awesome CheapAssGamer is now a father. I got to spend some time hanging out with Cheapy and his lovely wife while I was at TGS. They even put me up for a few nights, took me to some amazing restaurants I wouldn't have been to otherwise and were extremely gracious hosts. They are a wonderful couple and I am thrilled to congratulate them officially, if not somewhat impersonally here on Kotaku. Baby Crawls For First Time...To Xbox 360 Controller

My son has been on the verge of crawling for a couple weeks, but what finally got him to push himself over the top was the tantalizing promise of an Xbox 360 controller, which I cruelly had to take from him afterward for fear he'd slobber it to death.
