Online Videos by Veoh.com
This is a video of a game called Oculusia, created by a group of University students at the Aalborg University Copenhagen as part of their bachelor thesis. The game involves protecting sea sponges along the sides of the table from the one-eyed boss in the center by shooting at it, using a deflection paddle to defend the sponges from the boss attacks as well as other players' missed shots. Thomas Miksa, one of the students involved, sent us this video, along with a bit of explanation. More »

Fancy Pants Adventures is one of my favorite flash games of all time, so ever since March of last year when Flynn posted about the demo level for World 2 of Fancy Pants, I've been eagerly awaiting the full release. Now Armor Games has the mostly complete version of World 2 online, featuring Mr. Fancy Pants in a life or death struggle with the vile...bunny thing. Mr. Pants must retrieve the mystical...ice cream cone before the rabbit uses it to fill his stomach with creamy goodness. Okay, so the plot is thin and the music - my favorite part of the first game - doesn't quite exist yet. You can't play music while you're playing flash games on your employer's time anyway. More »

In a world much like our own. . .except with magic and aliens and way more ninjas. . .war is beginning.
Thus begins Press Start, a movie celebration of old school video games created by Ed Glaser of Dark Maze Studios. The natural evolution of countless YouTube gaming parodies, it's the story of a young man with spiky blond hair recruited by a ninja and a secretly female space warrior named Sam to help save the world from Count Nefarious Vile - so evil he killed Tetris. It sounds hokey, and in a way it is. Made on a budget that could buy half a shoestring, the production values are terrible, but taken as a fan-made film the whole thing is just an amazing accomplishment. It even features cameos from Carlos and Daniel Pesina of Mortal Kombat fame. More »

University Student, Su-Yin, has put together the Mario cake to end all Mario cakes. Created for a friend's birthday, this masterpiece took three days to make. The Mario figure in the center is amazing and puts it head and shoulders above other cakes of it's ilk. I'll be emailing Su-Yin shortly to see if she can bake me something on the order of Silent Hill. Ever since I brought the video game papercraft feature back from the grave, I've been getting a lot of links from readers to some terrific pieces. This one is really amazing as not only is it well done and home made, but it's Pyramid Head from Silent Hill 2. PYRAMID HEAD! I'm a huge fan of the Silent Hill series and this is one of the papercrafts I've highlighted that I might actually be able to make some time to put together. Kudos go out to Chamoo232 (aka Anne Marie) for creating this awesome piece! Flynn De Marco More »

So the Penny Arcade guys are good for more than just great comics and hilariously witty social commentary, they make awesome t-shirt designs too. This one is called "The Lite Brigade' and should definitely go on any DS lite lovers holiday gift list. These tees are only available on the ThinkGeek website and in addition to the smokin' front graphic, it has the Penny Arcade logo emblazoned on the back. You can bet I won't be waiting to see if I'm getting one of these for Christmas as I'm already ordering it as soon as I finish writing this post... Flynn De Marco More »

I just landed a final retail of Brain Age. What a fun game. If Nintendo can get these bad boys in the hands of middle-aged America they're going to open up a whole new channel of consumers to gaming. I'm not saying that this game couldn't be fun for everyone, but it certainly could help tap new markets. More »
