Straight from E3, there's finally confirmation that the new Assassin's Creed game will be on new platforms only, such as Xbox One.
Footage shows four different assassins doing what they do best in Paris, France: killing. Together, of course—the game has co-op. Here's what that looks like in-action:
UPDATE: Read more about the co-op over on the official AC site. It's for 2-4 players and appears to be separate from the game's single-player. It seems to support some degree of multiplayer free-roaming:
An Assassin's work is never done. Assassin's Creed Unity's co-op missions are highly replayable with randomized enemies, alternate paths, and various tactical options that can lead you to new challenges, encounters, and rewards.
Between co-op missions you can take to the streets with your friends to explore Paris from its steeples to its sewers. Whenever your Brotherhood unites, you are bound to make history together.
