Grand Theft iPod: Rockstar Steals Apple Marketing Guru

mugger_ipod.jpgRockstar Games just landed a new Head of Marketing, Alex Moull -Berteaux. Before taking the position at Rockstar, Moull -Berteaux was the the the account director for Apple's marketing. You have seen his influence in Apple's advertising campaigns for products as recent as the fabled iPhone.

So what does this mean for Rockstar's marketing? Hopefully we'll be seeing more gangster silhouettes on neon backdrops, cars with glassy finishes/no spots for doors, and guns "holding over 10,000 bullets" that can kill people for "up to 5 weeks straight".

I've always enjoyed Rockstar's simple but well-edited commercials, though what if..."Hi, I'm Saint's Row. And I'm GTA IV." Things could get interesting.
