Reception to Super Contra's appearance on Xbox Live was noticeably cool with the Kotaku readership, but that won't stop Gamerscore whores from paying the 400 Microsoft Points to boost their e-dick length. The kids from Xbox 360 Achievements dot org have snagged the Xbox Live Arcade game's list of a dozen digital accomplishments, making it easy to plan tomorrow's Gamerscore grab.

They range from obscenely easy—Collect 5 different weapon types— to wicked hard—Complete the game using only 1 credit—but all look like they're well within reach of mere mortals like you and I. No outstandingly unusual choices here.

What I do find unusual about Super Contra, is that in the 27th century, people are being named "Bill" and "Lance." I just assumed everyone's names would consist of a series of Zs, Xs, and a string of binary numbers. Plus, tank tops? Shouldn't they have silver jumpsuits?
