PC Mag Editorially Fellates Wii

WORST POST EVERNormally, I'm a big fan of the Wii love-in editorial, especially when it comes from the mainstream press. Tales of senior citizens and families getting together over a friendly game of Wii Sports bowling just makes me wanna shoot a rainbow out of every orifice.

Speaking of orifices, ZDNet editor Lance Ulanoff's latest gush piece about Nintendo's new console is starting to make me loathe these things, as his Wii fluffer calls the console "the Best Product Ever" while comparing the PLAYSTATION 3 to a coffee enema—there's the orifice relationship finally.

Don't get me wrong. Sony's done its share of screwing about with the release of this console—where are the games, already?—but I'm starting to get this sinking feeling that all this positive press about the Wii is going to jinx the thing.

Is Wii the best product ever? Not even close. Great console? Definitely.
