Action-puzzle game Rime was today re-revealed for the PS4, Xbox One, PC and Switch after over a year of silence from developer Tequila Works. Rime, slated for May, was previously a PS4 exclusive.
Here’s the new trailer:
Rime is an anticipated open-world indie game set on an island from which a boy is trying to escape. According to IGN, in Rime, “Players must navigate the island’s secrets by making use of light, sound, perspective and even time.”
Tequila Works, who also developed Deadlight, announced Rime at Gamescom in 2013. Threats of cancellation followed its debut. In an August interview with IBTimes, Rime’s developers said that they were silent, in part, because “we are only going to allow people to play the game when it’s fully ready. We have no bulls**t excuse of ‘Oh, it’s a work in progress, don’t worry, it will look better.’” They did not elaborate on their split with Sony.
