Hug pillows are called "dakimakura" with "daki" referring to "hug" and "makura" meaning "pillow". Dakimakura covers typically show anime-type characters.

Like the previous Rie Tanaka hug pillow, the latest ones feature images of Rie Tanaka. One side shows the voice actress in a bunny costume. The other side shows her in a leggy nightgown. The new hug pillow cover is priced at ¥9450 or US$117.

Rie Tanaka (Phantasy Star Portable, Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3) is such a popular voice actress that she even has her own trading cards.
