Machinima director Jason I. Choi took home the Best Direction and Best Visual Design awards at last weekend's 2006 Festival in New York City for his short made from World of Warcraft footage. The film, Edge of Remorse had previously won the Best Drama and Best Overall awards in Blizzard's Xfire WoW Summer Movie Contest.

I find it amazing that Hollywood spends millions of dollars on their piece of crap 5 hour movies and someone like Jason Choi can run circles around them with an 8 minute short created from video game footage. View Jason's work below and marvel at what a 4 time award winner looks like.
