Halloween is right around the corner, and that means its time for a flood of zombie games to iOS and Android devices. Gamevil, Gameloft and Foursaken Media each sent me info on a different zombie game today, so I've bunched them together into a shambling zombie game horde.
What's new with the walking dead? Check it out.
Lights, Cameras, Zombies
Gameloft, iOS/Android, Halloween
Zombiewood is a twin-stick shooter set in a zombie-infested LA. You play an action hero with an extremely overzealous director, hoping to capitalize on the end of the world. Upgrade weapons, change outfits, have a good time.
Gamevil, iOS, October 11
Zombie Gunner is a free side-scrolling action game which casts the player as a father named Andrew searching for his daughter Lisa, lost amidst the chaos of the zombie apocalypse. This one has story, a ton of weapons, and new characters that will unlock to aid you in your quests. Also, zombies.
Foursaken Media, iOS, October 25
The most interesting of the bunch, N.Y.Zombies 2 is a first-person shooter along the lines of Left 4 Dead, complete with co-op multiplayer for up to three players. It's got an extensive storyline, upgradeable weapons and items, advanced shooting techniques, and even an element of strategy in choosing the tools you choose to bring with you while you're facing off against 20-30 zombies at a time. It's an epic tale of survival, and it looks rather gorgeous.
How will you decimate the undead hordes on your mobile this Halloween?
