We've Got Too Many DVDs, It's Time for a New Monster Rancher

In today's randomly-selected-via-CD episode of Speak Up on Kotaku, commenter Daemon_Gildas wonders where the hell our current-generation, Blu-ray scanning edition of Tecmo Koei's Monster Rancher series is.

You know what series needs to come back? Like right now?

Monster Rancher.

Seriously, that game was goddamn AMAZING! Put in a disc, BAM, you got yourself a bomb-ass monster. I only remember playing it on Playstation, but I wasted away playing it!

Make it a downloadable title, and also let it "scan" other downloadable titles if possible. Being able to scan good ol-fashioned CD's and DVD's, though, is good enough for me (though Blu-Ray support would be pretty sexy, too).

About Speak Up on Kotaku: Our readers have a lot to say, and sometimes what they have to say has nothing to do with the stories we run. That's why we have a forum on Kotaku called Speak Up. That's the place to post anecdotes, photos, game tips and hints, and anything you want to share with Kotaku at large. Every weekday we'll pull one of the best Speak Up posts we can find and highlight it here.
