News and notes from around the world of sports video gaming:
• Here's something I never really noticed before: Michigan State wore an incorrect green in NCAA Football. Their fans, as you might imagine, take that very seriously. But in NCAA Football 13, the Spartans will fight in the proper shade, Christian McLeod confirmed to Operation Sports. That's a screenshot of it. I'm colorblind so, glad to see they're wearing the appropriate red.
• UFC Undisputed's second batch of downloadable fighters is now available to everyone. It originally dropped last week for those who bought the game's $17 "Season Pass" that included all of the DLC. There are two packs of content, both running 400 Microsoft points/$5 each. One is "The International Pack," which includes the fighters Chan-Sung Jung ("The Korean Zombie"), England's John Hathaway, Germany's Pascal Kraus, Australia's Kyle Noke and Italy's Alessio Sakara. The International Pack arrives April 18 in Europe, THQ said. The "Ultimate Compilation" has the same release dates, and features five pairings of real life fights for you to recreate.
• The Batmobile rolled up on EA Canada in Burnaby, B.C. today. That's the studio where FIFA, NHL, Fight Night, and SSX are made, among others. The appearance was part of an event supporting the Make-a-Wish Foundation. [Burnaby News-Leader]
