News of the death of Apple founder Steve Jobs spread quickly today via Twitter, with video game developers, designers and executives mourning the loss of the software and hardware visionary. They offered brief, somber reactions to Jobs' passing showing the breadth of his influence and impact.

Jobs' friends, admirers and even his business rivals took a quick moment to remember his contributions to technology, our lives and their respective careers. Most seemed simply sad to learn of Jobs passing at 56 years old, others expressed their gratitude and respect for his work. It's truly impressive to see the broad impact that Jobs' ideas had on video game creatives and tech giants.
