When the most exciting downloadable title in Nintendo's weekly lineup is an air traffic control sim game, it's either an excellent air traffic control sim game or a very slow week.
Perhaps it's a little of both?
Firemint's Flight Control finally brings the frantic route-tracing action of the hit iPhone game to the Wii, following its DSiWare debut earlier this year. The player is tasked with tracing landing paths for an entire fleet of aircraft, being careful not to have any of them collide in midair, ruining everyone's day. It's a rather addictive little game. Not sure how it'll work with the Wii remote, but it's probably worth checking out.
Between Flight Control and the 3D release of NES classic Urban Champion in 3D for the 3DS eShop, Nintendo couldn't possibly cram any more excitement into this week's download, so they didn't even try.
Price: 500 Wii Points
