In today's Speak Up on Kotaku, commenter Armstrongjx4 expresses his desire to see humanity fall to the Chimera in Resistance 3. Why? Because we expect to win.
Am I the only one who wants the humans to...you know, lose the war in Resistance 3?
I blame Killzone for this.
Killzone has been a backwards game since its inception. No one has ever liked the ISA. Whenever I played it, I always wished I was the Helghast. This feeling was amplified in Killzone 3 and it feels as if you're playing on the wrong team the entire game. Lame ending was lame btw.
In Resistance 3, I don't want to be able to take down a massive alien army that has the power to conquer worlds. I want to fight, and die trying to save the planet I live on.
I was hoping that's how Halo 3 would end, turns out I wouldn't get the ending until Reach. The only bad thing about that was I knew it was coming.
I want Capelli to fail. Only because I expect to win.
