Acronyms: good. Terrorists: baaaaaaad. Thank all that's holy, we now have the clandestine team of government agents known as NTSF:SD:SUV:: for short (the National Terrorism Strike Force: San Diego: Sport Utility Vehicle:: for long) kicking the virtual door of our televisions down. Battling terrorist threats from such evil countries as Mexico, Canada, and Guam, this team of highly trained operatives has only one objective: to save our asses so we can drive our hybrids and watch our 3-D movies freely and in a peaceful, terrorist-free San Diego. (If you don't live in San Diego, you are screwed. NTSF:SD:SUV:: apologizes, but they can only protect so many coastal cities with mild year-round climates.)
Starting tonight, July 21, Adult Swim is airing the premiere 15-minute episode of the premiere season of NTSF:SD:SUV::, which will feature ripped-from-the-headlines storylines that are as filled with suspense, action, drama, cliffhangers, yelling, passionate love-making, more yelling, death and pregnant pauses as any other acronymed show on the planet.
NTSF:SD:SUV:: is created by Paul Scheer and stars Scheer, Rebecca Romijn, Rob Riggle, Kate Mulgrew, Brandon Johnson, June Diane Raphael, Martin Starr, S.A.M., the first sentient robot on television, and in their first role, a fleet of gas-guzzling SUVs with full accessories and leather packages. Guest stars include Jeff Goldblum, Jerry O'Connell, Gabrielle Union, Adam Scott, JK Simmons, Wilmer Valderama, Moon Bloodgood and many more.
