It's Not A Green Lantern Party Until The Giant Fist Shows Up

Give a man one of the most powerful weapons in the known universe, and he'll create a giant version of his own hand. These latest screens for Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters summarize mankind's contributions to the war on interstellar crime.

Slated for release a week before the live action Green Lantern flick, Double Helix Games' Rise of the Manhunters tells a Green Lantern tale too big for the big screen. Before the Lantern Corps there were the Manhunters, robotic enforcers that didn't work out so well, obviously. Ryan Reynolds' Hal Jordan is tasked with taking them apart piece-by-piece, the only rule being that bits of robot fly towards the screen now and then to help sell the game's 3D support, which doesn't require an expensive TV set to function (glasses come packed inside the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 version.)

Feel the mighty green fist of justice on June 7.
