With less than a week before the Nintendo 3DS hits north America, Nintendo keeps things low-key for this week's Nintendo Download, with a Super Nintendo game from 1994 topping a short list of downloadable titles.
When Natsume Championship Wrestling for the Super Nintendo is the most exciting title in the lineup, you know it's a slow week for the Nintendo Download. Not that it's a bad game. To the contrary, it's as splendid a representation of wrestling as you'll find coming out of the 16-bit era. It's just a bit old.
So what's new? We've got Nordcurrent's Arcade Essentials, which claims to be five classic arcade games in one for WiiWare, another entry in the G.G. series of DSiWare games, and Tik Games' shape-placing puzzle game Shapo. Toss in a WiiWare demo for Dive and you've got the whole shebang.
I'm going to pass this week, I think. My DSi has already been traded in, and my Wii is busy with a Bust-A-Move game I picked up for $9.99 at Target. I'm good.
