We've posted a few zillion video game themed cakes on Kotaku, but rarely do they impress as much as this Angry Birds-inspired creation. It's one of the rare birthday cakes that's actually playable.

Mike Cooper from Electricpig is responsible for this interactive confection which he made for his Angry Birds-lovin' 6-year-old son. Cooper writes on his YouTube account "It's become a family tradition that I make increasingly ridiculous birthday cakes for my kids each year. So with my little boy Ben turning 6-years-old over the weekend, and appreciating his love of Angry Birds, I thought I'd have a shot a making him a playable Angry Birds birthday cake with working catapult and iced birds as ammunition."

Cooper has even put together a little tutorial on his Angry Birds dessert, which you can read here. Anyone out there who can provide alternatives to whatever Tunnocks Caramel Wafers are, please let us know in the comments.
