Chris Evans Lends His Voice To Captain America: Super Soldier

No matter how good or bad Sega's movie tie-in for Marvel's Captain America movie ends up being, at least we won't have to deal with a crappy Chris Evans sound-alike.

Captain America: Super Soldier is Next Level Games and Sega's attempt at making up for three (potentially four, with Thor on the way) consecutive poor-to-middling' Marvel movie video game tie-ins. After two bad Iron Man games and one so-so Hulk title, the chances of generating any excitement at all for Super Soldier are incredibly slim.

Still, they've got the film's star to provide a voice for his bug-eyed video game representation, and that's a step in the right direction.

"Signing Chris to star in Captain America: Super Soldier delivers the cinematic quality and emotional drive that fans expect," said Gary Knight, Senior Vice President of Marketing at SEGA of Europe and SEGA of America. "Chris will help fuel the character's mission as he battles through the enormous Hydra castle full of legendary villains in a completely original story."

Oh well. At least we know Captain America's got talent.

Look for Super Soldier to hit the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, and DS sometime around the movie's summer release.
