Six year's have passed since the events of Gameloft's Halo-esque iPhone shooter Near Orbit Vanguard Alliance, and hero Kal Wardin figured he was safe to retire. He figured wrong.
War never changes, and war veterans never truly retire. Kal Wardin gave it a good try, leaving the alliance after N.O.V.A. ended to settle on a remote desert planet, but he didn't move far enough away to avoid being sucked into humanity's new civil war.
When the battle between the Terran Orbitals and their N.O.V.A. force and the self-appointed Human-Alien Alliance escalates, Kal can't help but get drawn back in. Only he can uncover the truth behind the Volterites, a newly discovered alien race with mind-control capabilities. They seem peaceful enough, but come on, they have mind control. You know they're behind all this.
