The To-Do List For The Goliath Of Video Games

You're a giant video game company. You've released StarCraft II this year, and Call of Duty: Black Ops is selling ridiculous amounts. Your first name's Activision, last name's Blizzard. You have a plan for the future and, today, you shared.

What we've got here is the text from a slide shown today by Thomas Tippl, the chief operating officer at Activision Blizzard, the massive company that puts out everything from Tony Hawk and Guitar Hero games to Blizzard Entertainment's line of Diablo, World of Warcraft and StarCraft titles.

Tippls' slide was titled "Multiple Elements In Place To Enable 30% Non-GAAP Margins" which translates into "Things We Want To Do That We Believe Will Make Us A Lot Of Money"

This is in business speak, so be prepared to do some translation as you get a glimpse of what's to come from the mightiest game company out there right now.

• Expanding Call of Duty online services and into Asia
• High velocity growth through 2015 driven by online
• Bringing Guitar Hero back up to the overall Activision margin level
• Bungie's new blockbuster game universe [Editor's note: That's this.]
• StarCraft II expansion packs
• New World of Warcraft expansions
• Diablo III
• Blizzard Entertainment's unannounced MMO
• Blizzard Entertainment's growth in Asia, particularly in China
• New opportunities through Blizzard Entertainment's Battle.net
• Increased shift to downloaded games
• Capturing value from Used Games, Prize Play and other adjacent

You into that, gamers?
