I've heard people call this a Total War clone, but that's a little unfair. LKC puts you in command of either Crusader or Saracen forces during the time of the Third Crusade. While it's true that the game's battle sequences are very similar to those of Creative Assembly's Total War games, right down to the user interface and controls, on a strategic level LKC is a little simpler, serving as a cross between a classic real-time strategy mission select screen and a role-playing game (you'll be managing equipment, resting forces, etc).
Its user-interface can be a little rough around the edges, as these smaller games with more heart than budget often are, but developers Neocore have done a great job getting LKC at least looking like a top-shelf release. Those battle sequences are looking great.
