One of three rebel clans fighting against the vile Order in Power Gig: Rise of the SixString, Rise is comprised of a lead vocalist with murdered parents and a guitarist kicked off of her farm. This is one heavy game.

I continue to be impressed by the depth of story Seven45 Studios has constructed for Power Gig: Rise of the SixString. The characters look like refugees from Guitar Hero and Rock Band, but each has their own backstory and reasons to fight against the oppressive Order and its diabolical leader, the Headliner.

Just look at Dante, the lead singer for The Rise Clan. After his parents refused to turn over the talented youth to the Headliner, he had them murdered. Guitarist Becca might not have had her family murdered, but the Order seized her family farm, forcing her to move to the city and play guitar to survive.

Did the Order help give rise to the clan that could bring them down? Find out this October, when Power Gig: Rise of the SixString ships for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
