Last year's "main visual" for the Tokyo Game Show gaming expo featured a hodgepodge of images and a very bland slogan: "Game, it's so energetic". This year's?

This image was created by Osaka-born graphic illustrator Ippei Gyoubu. He's made his name creating work for everyone from Sony and Sega to Coca-Cola and Disney. Check out more of his work here. This year's theme is "Game, to the new chapter".

At last year's show, Capcom game designer Keiji Inafune famously said that the Japanese game industry was "finished" — in direct conflict with last year's theme of "Game, it's so energetic". Wonder what verbal slip ups this year's show will hold!
