This June, Sony will be rolling out its range of 3D wares, including its first 3D television the Sony HX803, the Sony stated in an official release. But what does that mean for gaming?

" Timed to complement the launch of the HX800, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe will release four 3D stereoscopic PS 3 game experiences through the PlayStation Network," Sony stated, "available as a free collection to purchasers of BRAVIA 3D TVs." Those games are Wipeout HD, Motorostorm Pacific Rift, PAIN and Super Stardust HD. This will come via PSN voucher code. 3D glasses will be sold separately.

A firmware update later this year will turn the PS3 into a 3D game playing machine.
