Hey, Kotaku. You want to take a break from talking to each other about video games and move the conversation in another direction? That's what Kotaku Off Topic is for, you know.

While you're free to talk about anything, I have something of a challenge for you. If you don't care for competition, consider it an interesting question to ponder. Has there ever been a more impressive cinematic montage than the training sequence in Rocky IV? The grief montage from the same movie is pretty fantastic, but not as inspiring. Bloodsport had some good ones. And, of course, the Team America: World Police parody is unmatched in its send up of the trope.

But can Rocky IV be topped? Make your arguments in the comments or steer the conversation elsewhere.
