Movie-hungry PlayStation 3 owners are flooding our tips email with notifications that Netflix is now shipping out the Instant Streaming discs for the PS3 version of the streaming video service.

When close to a dozen emails show up in our inbox all at once, you know a company has sent out a mass mailing! Several readers have dropped us a line telling us that they've received notification that the PS3 Instant Streaming discs required for the Netflix service to work on the PlayStation 3 are now on their way to their respective new homes.

The free Blu-ray discs will be required to run the streaming service on the PlayStation 3 until an embedded solution is made available next year.
