GameStop's booting up for the Black Friday rush, hiring some 15,000 temps between now and Christmas Eve to manage the predicted retail onslaught.

The temps will fill positions in 4,300 stores, briefly filling the company's total headcount by 46 percent, and the "in-store game advisor headcount" by 78 percent. GameStop said the figures are consistent with hiring efforts from 2908 and 2007.
