With self-dubbed role-playing shooter Borderlands set to his the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 early next week, game developers Gearbox Software are ready to par-tay!

So the studio is hosting a party on Oct. 17 in Dallas to celebrate the launch of their game with the help of Mix Master Mike of Beastie Boys fame.

The party will be at the Granada Theater from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Oct. 17. Space is limited so you'll have to RSVP on the site to get in.
