Wii Sports Resort Jet Skis Past The Competition In Japan

You may already know that Nintendo's sequel to the best-selling game of all time, Wii Sports, is already on its way to being a blockbuster in Japan. It sold 360,000 copies week one, five times more than the competition.

Fortunately for Nintendo, the competition is itself. Last week's software champ, Tomodachi Collection for the Nintendo DS gets bumped to second place. The rest of the top ten is filled with brand new games, including Rorona no Atelier: Arland no Renkinjutsushi and BlazBlue for the PlayStation 3. A handful of Xbox 360 games also chart, including BlazBlue (again), G Rev's newest cute 'em up Mamoru-kun wa Norowarete Shimatta and Time Leap.

    Bionic Commando also charted. Barely.

For the rest of the top thirty bestselling games in Japan, courtesy of Media Create, read on.
