Fan-favorite Batman writer Paul Dini neatly sums up Batman's plight in this behind the scenes video for Batman: Arkham Asylum.

Dini's breakdown of Batman's situation in Arkham Asylum is an oversimplification, but oversimplification can be entertaining. Many of today's games can be broken down to the point where they sound like the games of yesteryear. A hero trapped in a box filled with enemies might as well be the entire pitch for an early-80's arcade title.
