This morning we left El Paso, after spending the weekend with my mom and step-dad there, and Trish drove us across a chunk of the state to Fort Worth, Texas. We're going to be spending a day in the city looking around before heading out for New Orleans Wednesday morning.

We decided to take the Fort Worth route instead of the San Antonio one because I thought my in-laws would enjoy checking out the city. Also, I lived there for a bit while working at the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, so I kinda wanted to see how it has changed.

I think I may see if anyone wants go meet up for drinks at the Flying Saucer tomorrow night. Sorry you can't join us.
