Former German politician Martin Budich is in hot water for invoking violence...against Nazis...with Bomberman.

Last fall, Budich posted a imagine of Hudson video game character Bomberman holding cake with a bomb (he is Bomberman!). The text roughly translates to "No cake walk for the Nazis".

The image was protesting a Nazi event that was held on October 25, 2008. That Nazi event was met with violence from anti-Nazi demonstrators, and German authorities pinned that violence on Budich. The former politician incited attacks by using an image of Bomberman holding a cake with a bomb, they asserted.

In 2003, Budich was charged for using an similar image for creating an anti-Nazi image with Emily the Strange aiming a slingshot.
