    Final Fantasy games are prime fodder for figurines. A good chunk of those are high quality — good stuff. Then, there are these.

    Based on the game art, these are official Square Enix Final Fantasy IX figures of hero Zidane Tribal and heroine Garnet Til Alexandros XVII scheduled for August release. They are priced at ¥2,980 (US$31). They are frightening.
