Yeah, the CNN/Austin Kutcher thing is nuts. When I lived in America, I remember seeing him on TV a few times, but I don't know much about him other than he's famous. Hard to believe he gave CNN a run for its Twitter money!

Got my phone set up at the new place. The guy at the phone company was trying to get us to get a "hikari" fiber phone line, which is Japanese for "fiber-optic". The other choice was, what the guy called "regular" — or "analog".

Currently using a "regular" phone line at the old place and didn't want to get a fiber-optic line because you hafta get internet as well — they sell them together, and the new place already has internet!

Dunno about you, but with cell phones and all, is it really important to have a crystal clear landline connection? Analog has been serving me just fine...
