Dead Space on the Wii is a "guided experience". Read: on-rails shooter. That's a shame. Oh well. At least it looks great!
Putting aside the fact this is another damn developer diary, with selling points like "our game weapons have alternate fire modes", there's a lot of gameplay footage to be had in this clip (below), showing that the team's decision to remove the game's player movement has allowed them to get Dead Space: Extraction's visuals looking dangerously close to those found on the 360 & PS3 version.
Course, that won't make a lick of difference to how it plays - and it'll play like an on-rails shooter - but some clouds, you've got to grab that silver lining, you know?
