Chinese Democracy Coming To Rock Band This Spring

When Axl Rose makes a date, you can trust it. If the lead singer of Guns n' Roses says you can expect the decade-in-the-making album Chinese Democracy for Rock Band in February, ready your pen.

Wait, sorry. Get a pencil, because it looks like the previously rumored release of Chinese Democracy for Rock Band and Rock Band 2, revealed by Rose himself in December, will actually happen in the Spring, according to a new interview with Billboard.

Why the delay? One, because Axl Rose has seemingly no concept of time. And two, because Rose says "they felt the record-based on the nature and complexity of the depth of instrumentation-deserved a bit more attention and some more involved elements than they've generally dealt with."

Uh oh. I don't like the sound of that. But since I haven't actually given Chinese Democracy a listen yet, my personal anticipation isn't keeping me up at night, waiting for a press release from MTV Games.

We'll just sit back and wait. We don't want to put any pressure on Mr. Rose.
