Pokémon fever? Still burning with the heat of the sun in Japan. As previously reported, the latest, Pokémon Platinum, sold almost a million copies in its first week of release. We're not surprised. Sales of the game probably helped those of Quiz Magic Academy, another solid debut for the Nintendo DS.

The week's other big shot is Square Enix's Infinite Undiscovery, which bowed with 90K units sold in Japan, helping the Xbox 360 outsell its console competitors for the week. The RPG's release probably helped stoke sales of Tales of Vesperia too, which reappears on this week's Media Create sales chart after a week off.
