What are your thoughts on Robert Downey Jr?

Obviously great in the early stuff, like Less than Zero and Chaplin and then he went through a real crap phase. A phase I never thought he was going to get out of. But all of a sudden, well over the past few years, he's really been making a come back. Most recently, of course, you've got Iron man. Of course he is Tony Stark, so that's not surprising and Tropic Thunder, which kinda sorta is surprising. And now I see he's set to play friggin Sherlock Holmes! Sherlock Holmes? Really?

So yay or nay on Junior and his career?
