    While Sony and Nintendo were predicted to carry the day in terms of important news, it was a bunch of stuff taking place on the periphery of day 2 that turned out to be more interesting. Dead Rising on the Wii? Crazy. Bungie telling us all about a game they're not showing? Confusing. David Hayter's transformation from "Metal Gear guy" to nerd talisman? Still on track.
