LEGOs, Batman, Power Suits, it's all good. This latest gallery from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment shows off Batman and Robin's spanky new Power Suits. It looks like the suits allow them to do things like walk up metal walls, breath underwater and get funky with a sweet pair of sunglasses.

I don't know, but the way they designed Batman and Robin sure make them look like they're packin' more than just your average everyday utility belt.
Wow, this whole LEGO thing has jumped the shark.
That's all well and good, but can he do the Batusi??
I'm a little surprised by how well the visuals in this game look.
@ShaggE: Only if he's fighting the Scoutmaster.
@ShaggE: They have to put that in there as an animation when you just stand there for a while. My only question is, when did Batman hook up with Scuba Steve?
@Trowble (XBL/PSN): Come on, if Joel Schumacher taught us anything its that Batman and Robin love them some huge codpieces.
@Trowble (XBL/PSN): Wow. You know, I never have thought about lego crotch that way.
No Green Lantern power ring unlockable? I'm almost disappointed.
@Gray665: I can't believe I had to Google that before I remembered the reference... I'm a bad, bad Simpsons geek...
@Trowble (XBL/PSN): Holy Viagra Batman!! They ARE packin' some heat!
@ShaggE: Its all good man, its hard to remember everything after 400 or so episodes :-)
@Trowble (XBL/PSN): Sorry, but if I have the choice of death or being rescued by a superhero wearing a banana hammock, I think I'll take death.
This game is looking better as the days go buy. Possible purchase... :)
@Gray665: Heh, yeah. Plus my mental Simpson database is currently focused on the travesty known as Season 19... :p I really hope it's just a post-movie slump.
@ShaggE: Me too. The movie was better than I expected but this past season was just god awful.
This is sooooo cuuuuuuute.
I found myself trying Lego Star Wars: The Complete Collection to tide me over until GTAIV and Mario Kart Wii came out. I had no idea how addictive it was! I'll have to go back and get the rest of those gold bricks when I need a break from the other two (it could happen).
Looking forward to Indiana Jones and this when they come out. Curious to see what IP they will use next.
@TKWarrior: It is a great break from the more intense and violent games. I may have to mix some of that into my GTA4 marathon weekend. Maybe Sunday after noonish....
How many Robins are in this game? I hope there are at least three: Grayson, Todd, and Drake. Since lego characters need abilities unique to characters, those are as such: climbing/balancing, stealing hubcaps, and computer hackery. It's brilliant!
@Trowble (XBL/PSN): Yeah... that picture definitely does look that way. At least they don't have the bat nipples to go with it.
Again, because I feel compelled to say this.
Some of the "suits" that Robin needs are:
A blue and yellow suit with a giant collar and plunging v neck.
A black and blue suit with a simple wing design across the chest.
A modified black and blue suit with bird emblem on the chest and accompanying mullet hair cut.
@Mr.SithNinja: Oh man, that is spot on.
"Remember kids, always finish your homework and eat all your vegetables or Killer Croc will eat the shit out of you!"
@TKWarrior: i can't either. just can't fight the kid in us
i see a possible superman in the near future
@kw4k: Superman probably doesn't have a big enough ensemble of characters. Perhaps in the comics but I think it needs movie/TV characters to have the wide appeal.
Perhaps X-Men might be a good one though.
@paulmcg: Superman has plenty of characters available to use
they hinted that he'll probably show up in Lego Batman, though
@Gospel X:
Do you really think Lego Batman will be in-depth enough to even bother calling him anything but "Robin"?
Ah, Lego Batman. I'm. . overexcited for this game. Almost more excited for this than I am for The Dark Knight. But, I must ask: Am I the only one who wants to see a Lego Two-Face?
@Keith_e_fresh: Lego Justice League?
Finally, all those weird action figure outfits get recognised!
Let's see, Batman outfits appear to include a jetpack, nightvision goggles, and some sort of projectile device (grapple gun?). Robin has magnet shoes, a scuba suit, what might also be a jetpack (last image w/ some sort of antenna), and some rig with a large hexagonal backpack and a megaphone with a large dish on the front (no clue what that's supposed to be).
@Lackshmana:
You're referring to Nightwing, I presume? He's already a minifig, so given that and the green leggings, I'd presume that it's Tim Drake in the Robin costume and Dick Grayson as Nightwing.
@Bowser-Gaiden:
Yes, you are. Because they rest of us have already seen him (I own two of the minifigs), therefore we have no need for wanting.
@kidnicky: I'd be happy with Robins I, II, and III. The Lego Star Wars games aren't deep games but tend to have arguably deep character rosters. Why not the same for Batman?
@Gospel X:
I doubt very much you'll ever see a legitimate Robin II in the game, but honestly, how would you tell the difference between Robin I and Robin II in LEGO form? You probably won't even see Grayson in Robin togs, as he's Nightwing in LEGO continuity. No word yet on whether Nightwing or Batgirl will be included in the video game, though.
God I think I'm in love with lego Batman's painted on abs.
