This is probably as real as the whale that swims around Liberty City as reported by the Liberty News website.

Meaning it's nothing real or to be concerned with, just a cool little thing from Rockstar.

You know, it actually would be nice to have just a central character for a few GTA games, instead of making up new ones.

When I first saw the previews for GTA IV I wasn't overly impressed with Niko as a central character, but I've really come to like the guy and it'd be nice to see him check out the other locales

I bet that it is real, and it will be part of Microsoft's Exclusive Add-On expansion that is due this fall. And who knows maybe the one ue next year will bring him to Vice City...

I wouldn't mind. I like Niko, and would like to see more of him. Maybe this is the rumored 360 DLC? A recreation of San Andreas, or at least one of the cities?

Right now, I'm debating who to kill: Dwyane or Playboy X. And I love that the game gives you that choice, at the same time hating it because I like both the characters.

After completing GTA4, San Andreas is still my favorite game in the series. Would love to see an updated version, but I can't imagine how you could push something of that size out as DLC... Unless you just included San Andreas and left out San Fierro, Las Venturas and the areas around them.

I hated SA. Vice all the way. Also, I take this as a homage to the previous games, no more.

This whole DLC being new Citys is just stupid. Its gonna be new missions, areas, guns, cars, outfits etc etc.

I have it on good authority that the DLC will be a combination of Mario Kart style racing and Tetris like action puzzler.

I think Rockstar should pull a fast one and unveil Horses and Horse' armour as the DLC for 360.

A new form of transport, and clothes/stylin for said transport :)

Oh, and maybe some kinda sparkly tower thing out on a tiny beach outcrop, which is decorated inside with hundreds of indentical posters, all featuring the same clown pointing at the player, laughing.

@spargo_1: Why not release a new city as DLC? They've already got $50 million from MS, charge $20 dollars for the new expansion and they'll be making money hand over fist.

I for one, can't even begin to start looking for a new city yet. I just completed the game and am very much having fun trying to get 100%.

I wouldn't be heart broken if they granted access to SA. I mean it would make the $500 000 acheivement alot easier since we could visit a bookie. :D

@spargo_1: I agree. Though, I still think it would be cool if they had Niko in those new games. I'm really getting attached to the guy. But new clothes would be much appreciated for DLC. It's not nearly as extensive as San Andreas, which was a little disappointing.

I have 5 GTA's for me PS2. I know its unresoanible to think there will be 5 GTAs in this current generation (complexity, expenses to make the game, etc) but one more... I think its doable, in a few years time.

@freespeech: I agree with spargo_1 DLC is going to be mission packs, maybe weapons, or a new area, but I doubt it will be whole cities because Rockstar could easily just make a new game with those "Full Cities" and sell that for another 500 mil.

Not to mention that Rockstar has stated that GTA4 is about Liberty City (emphasis on the city). They may add a borough at most, but odds are it's just mission packs.

@Salen: I would quite like to see Vice City too, but as it is now...25 years on.

You know, I must be the only one who killed Dwayne and felt that was the right decision. I didn't particularly care for Playboy X, but Dwayne just was as a whiny little bitch. Sure, he tried to come off hard from all the time he spent in prison, but he'd just mope in his apartment while Niko took care of business. I say good riddance to that waste of space.

I would love the weapon sets from Vice City... or maybe Discovery will sponsor this like they did with GEARS and we'll get some "future weapon" downloads.

I killed Playboy X, and I suppose that if you kill Dwayne, you don't get Playboy X's fancy apartment to live in, PLUS a new friend who will send gang members to help you in missions whenever you call him.

If you don't follow the story through with the character and help Dwayne man up once more, you lose ALOT of goodies. And I don't think Playboy X will ever do you any more favours.

The reason I killed Playboy X in the first place, was because I saw a parking space in his apartment, and I realised that the space could be unlocked. It was an easy decision for me.

How could you kill Dwayne? He seemed like a decent guy. X just came across as a punk, which is why I killed him. Well, that and I wanted his apartment, which they make pretty clear with that parking spot in front of the place.

@Darth Navster: I also killed Dwayne. As did the guy sitting next to me. The guy was a relic, his life was shot to shit, and he was ready to end it all anyway. Playboy X was an annoying prat, but at least he was comical. Dwayne was just depressing.

Later people have said i've "ruined my save" and such, frankly I made the decision myself, not because of getting a stupid dumbass parking space. Anyone claiming they "worked that out" is talking out their ass, because I don't see how you could distinguish it from the concept that Playboy X would let you crash in his crib if you sided with him. You knew beforehand, and that guided your hand, at least my choice was free.

I hope the DLC includes a new radio station or two.

If they're going to do a city and planning on not on half-assing it I imagine they'll probably be planning on saving it for the next game.

@RBecho: Once again, I vote for the addition of Shaolin Island with NPC's voiced by the Wu-Tang Clan.

On the other hand, I'm not entirely sure how much extra effort on the system it would be to add a borough or city area that you can reach by driving. If they are extra areas, my guess would be areas that you reach by boat trip or via the airport, meaning they could unload Liberty City's assets and load in the new area while it shows you getting on the boat/plane and traveling.

@Lu-Tze: Actually, it's usually simple to tell who you will eventually kill. If you look at your stats and someone only has a "mission progress" stat and not a "respect,like" progress, you are most likely going to kill that person. Besides hating Playboy X, I also noticed Dwayne had the "Like/respect" stats, so I knew I needed him to be around.

honestly it would be cool to see niko go back to europe and wreak havoc over there. that would make a great GTA5.

Meh, I'm not that excited. I'm already getting sick of GTA IV and I bought the PS3 version anyways. I could trade it in and pick up the 360 version, but as I've said, I'm already getting tired of the game. I don't want to say it's overrated but come on, a 99 on metacritic?

I agree, I really like Niko as well. It seems like the GTA series has found it's main guy for a while IMO. Also it would be great to see his rise and potential fall and introducing a new character for the series later on. Niko dieing would probably be just as meaningful as Aeris dieing.
