Looks pretty fun.
If it's half as fun as the original Tribes, this should be good.
I hope they include the spinfusor somewhere down the line.
If it werent for the jetpack feature, what is new? looks like Quake 3 with better graphics. Im so bored with all these FPS games. They need to do something drastic or they will just pass by and have noone moved in anyway.
Eh... playable in the browser? My system has a tough enough time trying to run flash videos, and I'm on a 1.8GHz AMD chip. I have a feeling something's going to look nothing like that video, if I tried to play it.
Looking at this game reminds me of SHOGO. I'll definitely try it.
Makes me want to play Tribes again... and I think I will.
wow never seen this before... do they think they are gonna make money?
If only Gundam games played this fast. Anyone know what consoles is coming to, if any?
I swear that was the mgs song
sounds like the mgs2 theme, remixed.

Looks really fun. That instantaction website is pretty cool. Who would've thought we'd be able to play fully 3d games on your web browser. Can't wait until this game is released.
Kind of reminds me of the old unreal tournament with gravity set really now and speed set high except this has larger levels... kinda looks like it too :\
I'm keen for it. Keen indeed.
That Think Tanks game on the Instantaction website is great fun, too.
While Crecente suggested 2008 will be the year of the Wii, I reckon 2008 will be the beginning of the web-browser based multiplayer gaming phenomenon really coming into its own.
Armored Core, minus Shoji Kawamori.
@mr.dandy:
But it looks cool!
@LittleBigPlaneteer: PC Onry
It saddens me to see all the younger gamers hating on this game without even understanding how much Tribes has influenced modern online multiplayer.
Anyways, it is starting out very simple, which might turn away a few players, but I'm loving the idea of live development. It will allow the developers to cater to what the fans want.
Also, the "Open Beta" has started, you just need to sign up for an account on InstantAction and, using the e-mail you used for IA, send a blank e-mail to the address:
felopenbeta@garagegames.com
They are currently only letting about 1000 people per week into the "open beta," but I wouldn't be surprised if it will take a few weeks to get through everyone waiting in line.
Sharing almost the same name as the worst, or second worst Magic: The Gathering expansion ever, I'm afraid that I can't play this game, regardless how good or bad it might be, or whatever is going on in it.

Playing that song and the MSG2 opening introduction soung back to back... Yeah, gg on the remix GG. :P
@Konung: IT PLAYS ON YOUR F'ING BROWSER!
I wish they had done a regular Garage Games release instead of go for this browser type thing. I'd still buy that (for a reasonable price) to avoid using dodgy browser plug-ins even if the actual game's free on there. Perhaps they'll offer a downloadable solution that launches instantly too though? Do they do that with their current games (even if you have to go to the site to view ads and click play or whatever?)
Good to see this up here, I've been playing in the closed beta for a little while now and its definitely a solid title. Definitely a touch content-light for the moment, but that's part of their live development business model. Having said that core gameplay (and most importantly the movement model) is working very nicely at the moment considering it's beta status.
...Metal Gear!?
I'd like to play this but I really don't want to play a 3d FPS in my browser.
Fallen Empire: Subsistance
Hand_O_Death add me, especially if you signed up for the next enrollment for the beta.
im so there. ignore the 'looks like XXX' idiots, they couldnt even tell you if their ass was punched or bored. im there, and ill kick all of yous ass. guaranteed.
@SilverStar95: Flash is notoriously slow. But this is not flash. Instantaction games need some plugin to work, but they're totally worth it. They work fast and look good. They work great even on my sucky work laptop (1.2 Ghz celeron)
Finally got to play it today, and it definitely exceeds expectations.
