Jonathan Mak's one man show Everyday Shooter is now available to PC gamers via Steam. Like the PlayStation 3 version, it's a mere $9.99 USD—actually $8.99 in its debut week on Valve's digital distribution platform—a bargain for such a fabulous little, Independent Game Festival award winning experience like this. Also exciting? A revamped Steam web site that makes it easier to peruse the ever increasing catalog. Hooray!

Downloading now. One of the few downloadable games I was upset to be missing out on.
awesome game. Anybody whos a fan of shoot-em-ups should go play this.
Oh man, this is a first for a PSN game to my knowledge... whose next? Pixel Junk? Flow?
It crossed my mind that this may be an opening to go onto other consoles but not likely. It would be kind of disingenuous of the developer to go multi-console after Sony has put it in the spotlight so much.
Pick this up! I'm terrible at it,but it's fun.
Someone please post if you can play this with a controller. It would be nice if one have the same kind of experience they would have had on the console if possible.
Wow, you know who else should play this?
Fans of school shootings.
@okenny :): in steam, it says compatible with controller. so, i assume, yes
Ha!Take that Sony,another exclusive lost!
Now,to make sure everyone knows im being sarcastic...
Anyway,Everyday shooter is one of those games that i think everyone should play, its just so beautifull, the music, the designs, everything.
I dont think iv ever felt the same way about a game as i did when I was on the last level fighting the boss to the most wonderfully appropriate music.
Do yourself a favour and buy this damn game.
This game is amazing. I'm glad I bought it on psn. Anyone who doesn't have a ps3 and does have a steam account should do themselves a favor and pick this game up.
This game is so freaking hard to me. I can't get past the level in that picture. Which I think is sad.
I love shooters, but I suck horribly at them. Just don't have the twitch necessary. Tempting, yet I fear I will regret the purchase. Decisions, decisions.
Jonathan Maks always planned to make a PC version, but since Sony offered him a deal, he made it for the PS3 first. I'm glad he finally made this for the PC so people who don't own a PS3 could enjoy it.
Yeah, this game is fun, yet brutally hard.
Never regret picking it up for $5.
@Sollus: Just buy the levels after.
There needs to be a PSN update for this. new alternate music, another level or two.
@dabu: No dice. I emailed him, and he said that he's busy on another project. I told him to add co-op to his next shoot-em-up game.
@Sollus: that is sad
But seriously, every level after that one, including it, is a bitch. You can make a chain by blowing up the eyeballs with the energy around them while other eyes are in the 'field'. It takes out a lot of other ones and makes focusing on the big eye easier.
I love how the combo system is different in every level and you have to figure it out the first time. the music is also amazing in this game.
jonathan mak = talent. if you missed out on this game so far, definitely pick it up.
Everyday Shooter is a sublime experience. A real beautiful piece of work. It's suprisingly challenging the first time through, but stick with it and you're more than likely to fall in love with it.
Really looking forward to what Jonathan Mak is working on next.
Well, I hope you PC users enjoy. Just use a damn controller. Even though it's easier with a mouse, it's more fun with a controller. Lay back, shoot :P
@okenny :):
flow was originally for the PC. But I do think pixel Junk would be awesome if it came to Steam.
Ah the beauty that is Everyday Shooter is now being shared with the world. Seriously though as many have already stated buy this game. The music and the environment are all seamless and fluid. Give the man the support he deserves for this amazing game.
awesome, I don't have a ps3 but I've been wanting to try it ever since it came out!
SUHHH-WEEET! one less reason to buy a PS3.
@okenny :): Flow started out as a web-based Flash game.
I finally signed up an account just to comment on this. The game sucks. Please avoid.
I don't get the worship of Jonathan Mak either. The guy haphazardly stapled Rez and Geometry Wars together, made sure to turn the controls to crap (brilliant, let's let you shoot in only 8 directions because you were too lazy to adjust to developing it for an analog controller).
Maybe it's more the internet hype machine's fault than his. That's right internet. You suck.
Why does Steam not accept credit cards payments if your living and billing addresses are in different countries?
First I couldn't buy AudioSurf and now this.....damn.
That'd be to prevent credit card theft. I got around it with EVE Online by e-mailing some things proving my identity (copies of the card and my ID and such), but I never got around it with Steam. Xbox Live is a bitch, too. I've got a Japanese system, I live in Japan, but I have an American credit card (the billing address is my father's house). I have a silver membership to the american Xbox Live, but I can't buy Microsoft points because it won't let me add my credit card as a payment method. I e-mailed Xbox Live support a few times, and they said they can't do anything via e-mail and I had to call the 1-800 support number (which I can't do from Japan). Wee.
It sucks, cause the Japanese Xbox Live is BARREN as far as movies. It has a few music videos or something from some artist I've never heard of, and that's IT.
@lollercoaster: Why not use Paypal option?
@Word Man: Aint being shared with me I keep getting a too busy to process your request lol
Yay finally, now get Pixeljunk Monsters please.
