I was about to let this one fly completely under my radar. Then I go and see this, and remember just why Ratchet & Clank games are so great (even when they're not done by Insomniac). It's the charm. In case you missed it last night, Secret Agent Clank's out June 12.

If I ever get a PSP this will probably be bought right away, along with Chains of Olympus.
"June 12th"
Is it just me or does there seem to be another release on June 12th under the guise of a tactical espionage game?
Nah, it's probably just my imagination...
The concept of a Clank game confuses me, a bit. I could understand Daxter, what with him being the talkative, wisecracking and zany member of the bunch, but from what I remember of the original Ratchet & Clank, Clank was more of a nag, yeah? Did his character improve in the subsequent games, or am I the only one who didn't care for him?
Clank has definitely evolved into a more defined character over the years. He's still a bit more to-earth than his furry-eared counterpart, but he's got sharp witticisms and antics of his own. (My wife still recreates his teleporter-induced giggle from Tools of Destruction.)
The intro left something to be desired, though. Just didn't seem to have an immediate grab like the other titles do, other than the apparent problem Ratchet displays.
Same day as Metal Gear Solid 4. Hmmm...
My wallet's not going to be happy.
I thought this game was going to continue off the story ark that ended with the PS3 title. Did I miss something or is that meant for a PS3 sequel?
@TKWarrior: Isn't this the spin-off of the series, since Clank got his own tv show, Secret Agent Clank? That's what I thought.
I never got Size Matters, always thought a psp R&C game could be bad, so I'll have to see some gameplay, but ugh. Those extended spaceship scenes are back, I hate those.
Also, did anyone else see the weird red dots on Ratchet's head? Didn't try t hide it too well, did thet
Those dots were probably supposed to be there. Also, you've got to remember it's a PSP game, not a PS3 game. Handhelds usually have uglier graphics than home consoles.
But I bet you knew that. Also, Size Matters is a great game, I enjoyed it more than ToD actually.
Can't wait for this. Ugh, I need to hunt down the other R&Cs.
I wish that the PSP2 has backwards compatibility, so I can play all these great games.
@ItsSuperEffective: You'd rather stare at a blank loading screen than the ships? Always thought they were an endearing addition.
I can't afford this AND MGS4...
@artofwar420:
PSP2 you say? Where?!
I bet it'll have bugs their never patch like R&C Future.
Eh.
That is all.
