Snake Making Appearance In New International Track & Field

Not normally a big fan of cartoony, mascot-filled, cross-over sports games. But for some reason, Konami's International Track & Field remake on the DS has me intrigued. Mostly because it's going to feature Sparkster, a rodent I hold so dear to my heart it's overriding my common sense. The bulk of you lot will probably hold this guy a little dearer, however: Konami have announced that, fresh from his cameo in Smash Bros, Snake will be appearing in the title as a deformed, adorable little athlete. So finally, after years of wondering and heated debate, we'll know whether Snake's a better triple-jumper than Simon Belmont.

Simon Belmont is significantly better at whatever it is than Snake could ever hope to be. It takes a real man to kill a vampire with a whip when what you should have done was stab them in the heart with a wooden stake. But don't go telling the Belmonts that.

Who knew Solid Snake's teeth were so clean...for him being a chain smoking merc that is. This game also features Evil Rose apparently, though I'd prefer Rowdy Reiko. MGO completely popularized her character.

Eh.. as much as I love Snake, I don't particularly like this idea. Mainly cause I don't want him to "sell out" and become Mario or Sonic and be in every thing.

It's all about Sparkster for me, I won't get the game but the fact Konami actually remembered him is good news. Rocket Knight Adventures for the Mega Drive is an amazing game and if you still have a Mega Drive but not played it go play it now!
