i'm surprised
it's actually pretty phun
Anyone play it yet? I won't be home from work until 6, grabbing dinner and going to a strip club after that. Won't be able to play tonight :(
Sweet! On it!
I just got done playing through it, and it's some good mindless fun. Unless later levels (i'm assuming this one is early of course) have different changes in gameplay, however, it seems it may get a little reptetive. Right now, it's looking like a solid rent.
@ryu89:
But,you wouldn't go out and buy it first day right?
Did your Character ever seem like he was in actual danger of dying? Curious about the gameplay?
Thanks!
I really wanted this game to be good... But 1. Its a movie game and 2. The trailers made it look kinda dumb....
I hope I am pleasantly surprised once the demos done dling
It's available for gold members only for now :/
Where is the ps3 love
@Fishballs: oh thats right! my account went silver 2 days ago and i won't go gold untill monday. i forgot, i was like what the hell? why cant i get it?
did anyone get a dashboard update today?
i did, thinking that we would see spring update, but alas no changes, at least i didnt notice.
LOL @ the giant "T for Teen" rating that filled up my entire plasma screen
@latinogamer: Ps3 wont be getting the demo before the games launch.
"No Demo for You"
only lets you play for 9 mins...
@Dakobah: Yep the update was for future features. much like when they added the keyboard pad, wireless guitars and the scene it controllers, you will see nothing new on that update.
@Dakobah: Major Nelson said the Dashboard update had no new features; just that it was prep work for future growth.
i can only imagine that it is preparation for GTAIV online play.

"For those of you not at your 360..."
Or whose 360s aren't yet with them... This looks like good, punchasizing fun, though.
The menus look awesome, Iron Man looks awesome, everything else looks like crap, and the gameplay is bland. Super cheesy one-liners from Downey Jr.
Basically fly around holding down the right trigger, you barely have to aim because of auto-lock on.
I got bored after 5 minutes.
Ummmmmm....?
It's ok if you like these kind of games but "for me" there will be too many BETTER games coming out from now untill the end of the year that 60.00 buck is to much for a simple mindless shooter. But that is not to say the Marvel fans won't have fun. This game is just not marketed towards me, that's for sure. I can say the DEMO is finished in like 10 minutes. How are these types of DEMO supposed to entise a potential buyer to go and say "oh snap this game is da bomb" lol...We need more DEMOS like the Burnout Paradise Demo that actually give you a realistic demonstration of what the core game is. This is only one man opinion but 60.00 bucks for a game like this is, well just robery.
I was far more interested in the Condemned 2 demo (yeah, haven't nabbed the full thing yet), but due to it's extreme brevity*, I'll be checking this out shortly.
*And I mean EXTREME brevity.
Me playing: "Nice intro... okay, got a weapon, yay hobo killing... fancy effects...damn you, tar monster things!... explore, explore, can't see shit, explore, yay hobo killing again... oh, what's that nice man doing behind that glass?... I'MMA RESCUE YOU, NICE MAN!... what... it's done already? Fuck.
Played the demo, ground movement is as awkward as I thought it would be. Flight was cool. I'm an Iron Man slut so I'll probably pick it up.
The demo's environment is a bit sparse and uninteresting.
I'd say overall i'm slightly disappointed.
Definitely an improvement over the Superman game.
Superman with an Iron Man costume on.
Too bad.
@ShaggE: I rented it right after I finished the demo (and my C and java finals. haha).
it's totally awesome but I guess I also need to go out and buy diapers.
@mescalineeyes is sleepy: Yeah, I like the tenseness. Almost jumped a few times, thanks to the "Doom 3 Brand Useless Flashlight (TM)".
Can't wait to GameFly it.
I liked it, although the flying's a bit hard to control.
I played it and i got a bad feeling about it. Awful controls. Boring mission. Boring landscape. I smell another low score for a movie game
@ShaggE:
Is the Condemned 2 demo out yet?
@rochec:
Yep, felt like Superman all over again.
@Orionsaint: Yes. It's under New Arrivals.
I actually had a bit of fun. The gameplay wasn't super duper shallow, but it was a little easy on normal. So far, looks like it will make a decent weekend, but I am not going to buy it new, much less preorder it.
Flying was fun, if not a little hard to control and certainly not made for precision. Shooting was kind of bland, especially once you get the hang of hovering. The voice acting wasn't as awful as it could have been and I was expecting the game to be a lot worse.
I'd play it.
I had pretty good hopes for this, i'm a big Iron Man fan and I really like the how the movie is looking. Sadly Ironman does about 10 animations, besides the 4 grappling animations I saw. Holy retarded game batman!!! Controls are loose as a Chinese New Year Goose! Only cool part is all the different suits and customization aspect, but thats only cool because it's Iron Man. Do yourself a favor and forget about this game right now.
I don't like the controls at all flying with just one analog is not good you should be able to control where you are going if two analogs are available to use but alas the right analog is only for viewing.
Flying was weird. Pretty fun, though. As much as I love Iron Man, it's a rental, at best.
@argh: Agree. I'll pick up a used copy when it hits $20,
